Tapestry Weaving

Tapestry weaving is a technique that was popular during medieval times. Tapestries used to cover the walls in draughty castles and manors, declaring the wealth of the inhabitants.

In the cyber age the weaving of tapestries is still happening with maybe a different focus from before.

No longer covering the walls of castles or manors it is the chosen medium of those artists who want to express their ideas and feelings in a technique and medium which has its roots in the first pieces of cloth woven by man.
